Proverbs 10:27 – “Fearing the LORD prolongs life.” Psalm 111:10 – “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding.” Revelation 14:7 – “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
Our merciful God is a God who is full of glory. Those who drink from His fountain of salvation will never thirst again. Our living God is the first, last and the only source of salvation. The way we keep His love in our hearts as the light of life, in the same manner we must also keep His fear in our hearts as fearing Lord prolongs life, teaches us wisdom and understanding and enables us to endure in a time of judgement.
Above all fear the Lord in our hearts so that your life would be free of sins. A God-fearing heart keeps us away from evil. Each time we are about to commit sin and move against God´s will, our conscience will stop us and make us realize to be fearful to God. In conclusion, the fear of our God in life prolongs and blesses us. Nothing is better than living a Godly life, for it is by our obedience that we demonstrate to our heavenly Father that we love him, and He rejoices over us. Amen.
